New CD: Village Music from Kalotaszeg – Csűrös Band With Lengyel László „Türei” (voice) and Varga István „Kicsi Csipás” (violin). 2012. Hungarian Heritage House, Győr Foundation. Members of the Csűrös Band are natives of Transylvania’s Kalotaszeg region and they play music of that area – especially from the villages of Türe and Méra. There will be a record release concert on March 31st during the National Táncház Festival in Budapest.
