Éri Pityu (1953–2023) – on the occasion of what would have been folk musician Éri Péter’s 70th birthday, an old friend recalls milestones of their friendship: a concert played together in 1973, working with Tilos Radio, when they were ethnography students together at university, working with Péter’s mother ethnographer Borbély Jolán, conversations during Ladikos Folk Music Festivals, Muzsikás Ensemble’s album "Ősz az idő", working together on the double album of traditional Gypsy songs "Dimó Dalai", Pityu’s radio program, and his tune "Betyárnóta" [Outlaw Song].
