Conversation with Berán István and Jávoszky Béla Szilárd editors of „Táncház 50”. A discussion of the new book published in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the first Budapest dance house (held on May 6th 1972) and the movement that then ensued. The intense wave of interest in this form of entertainment and recreation grew quickly, became a way of life and a community for a relatively small but very enthusiastic and dedicated sector of the Hungarian population. Editors of the book sent out a call for written memories, photographs and memorabilia in February 2022. Not everything recieved fit into the published book, but can now be found at the related website.
