The traditional music of the Kapus/Câpuşul creek area of Transylvania’s Kalotaszeg region bears marks of an older period with use of the small bass, three stringed viola and major accompaniment. Fiddler Viski Rudolf was born in 1912. The volume includes the transcribed tunes, information on the fiddler’s life, his playing technique, the mode of accompaniment and an accompanying CD.
