Announcing: Traditional music training – from fall 2007– a new department at the Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest The establishment of this department at the Liszt Academy of Music marks a historical moment for Hungarian folk music! Wellknown and respected Hungarian musicians, teachers, ethnomusicologists (see list of names in paragraph 6 of Hungarian article) will be teaching in the new program. Study in this department at the Academy will be open to both Hungarians and foreigners under the same conditions as for the other departments at the Liszt Academy.
